NEW · SPRING FOLIO

Real ink. Real paper. Unreasonably good walls.

Forty-two prints from eighteen illustrators, pulled on a 1994 Riso MZ790 in our Goa studio. Every colour is a separate pass, every pass is slightly imperfect, and that is the entire reason to buy one instead of a poster.

Shelf Editions

A5, unframed, editions of 60. Signed on the reverse. ₹1,200 each

Fluorescent pink does not photograph

Riso pink is fluorescent. Every photo on this page undersells it. Order one and see, or ask for a free ink swatch card.

Editions of 60, then gone

When an edition closes we do not reprint it. Eleven of last year's forty are already unavailable and stay that way.

Artists take 50%

Half of every sale goes to the illustrator, paid monthly, no minimum threshold. We publish the payout total each quarter.

Everything people ask about riso

Why is my print slightly misaligned?+

Because each colour is printed in a separate pass and the paper moves a fraction of a millimetre between passes. Misregistration is the medium. If it bothers you, riso is not your thing and that is fine.

Will the ink smudge?+

Riso ink is soy-based and cures over about a week. Fresh prints can transfer slightly, which is why we interleave with glassine. Framed behind glass, it is stable for decades.

Do you frame?+

No, deliberately — framing doubles the shipping risk and we would be worse at it than your local framer. We do print to standard IKEA and Ekaant sizes so framing is cheap.

Do you ship internationally?+

Yes, rolled in a tube, 12 countries. Prints under A3 go flat in a rigid mailer which survives the post better than tubes do.

One print a month, in your inbox

New editions go to the list twelve hours early. That is usually the difference between getting one and reading about it.
