Coffee, a printed programme and a campus map. Come early if you want a place on the 10:00 residence tour; it is the one thing that reliably runs out.

Twenty minutes from the Vice-Chancellor, followed by twenty minutes of questions from the floor. The second half is the useful half.

Each department runs the same 45-minute session three times, so you can attend up to three. Do not try for four; the walk across campus is longer than the map suggests.

Free lunch in Hall, and an unmoderated panel of current students with no staff in the room. We are told it is where the honest answers happen.

Halls, the library, the sports centre and the labs. Tours leave every fifteen minutes until 16:30.

Drop-in, no appointment. Bring your predicted grades and your actual questions about money.

Yes, for lunch numbers and for the residence tours. Registration closes at midnight on 11 November and we cannot add people on the day.

Please bring them. There is a parallel programme for parents and guardians — finance, accommodation, safeguarding, and a separate panel where they can ask the awkward questions without you in the room.

Free on the day at the North Gate car park, but it holds 240 cars and the station is a nine-minute walk. We would take the train.

There is a second open day on 21 March 2027, and campus tours run every Wednesday at 14:00 throughout the year. Neither has the departmental sessions, which is what makes November worth the journey.

Every venue on the programme is step-free, and there is a quiet room in the Whitfield building open all day. Tell us at registration what you need and someone will meet you at the gate.
