Campaign Groups
Bundle related campaigns and view their combined analytics — useful for multi-part series, A/B comparisons, or any set of campaigns you want to track together.
What campaign groups are for
A campaign group is a container for two or more campaigns. Once grouped, you get aggregated delivery and engagement metrics across all of them — one set of numbers for the whole series rather than separate reports per send.
Common uses:
- Multi-part series — bundle Week 1, Week 2, and Week 3 of a newsletter sequence and track combined engagement
- A/B variants — group two subject-line variants to compare aggregated performance
- Thematic campaigns — track all emails from a product launch in one place
Grouping doesn’t affect the individual campaigns. They still send independently, on their own schedules, with their own recipient lists.
Creating a group
Open Campaign Groups from the left sidebar and click New Group. The wizard has three steps:
- Group Info — give the group a name and an optional description
- Add Campaigns — pick the campaigns to include (you can add more later)
- Review — confirm and create
After creating the group you land on the group detail page with four tabs.
Overview tab
Aggregate metrics across all campaigns in the group — the same eight metric cards as an individual campaign report:
| Metric | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Sent | Total messages dispatched across all campaigns in the group |
| Delivered | Messages accepted by recipients’ mail servers |
| Bounced | Messages rejected, including spam complaints |
| Failed | Messages that couldn’t be sent |
| Open Rate | Unique opens as a percentage of delivered, across the group |
| Click Rate | Unique clicks as a percentage of delivered, across the group |
| CTOR | Click-to-open rate — unique clicks as a percentage of unique opens |
| Unsubscribed | Recipients who unsubscribed via any campaign in the group |
Below the metric cards, the engagement timeline shows opens and clicks over time for the whole group. It has the same time-window (Last 7 / 14 / 30 days, This month, All time) and interval (Hourly / Daily) controls as the individual campaign view.
Campaigns tab
The list of campaigns currently in the group. Each row shows the campaign name, status, and recipient count. Use Add campaign to include additional campaigns, or remove any that no longer belong.
Analytics tab
Link performance aggregated across all campaigns in the group — every URL clicked anywhere in the group, with Unique Clicks, Total Clicks, and CTR (unique clicks as a percentage of total delivered across the group).
Recipients tab
Every recipient across all campaigns in the group, with their delivery and engagement details. Three filters:
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Search | Filter by name or email address |
| Campaign | Scope to a specific campaign within the group, or view all |
| Status | All / Delivered / Opened / Clicked / Bounced |
Click the history icon on any row to see that recipient’s full audit trail across all campaigns in the group.
