Schedule a campaign for later
In the campaign wizard’s Schedule step, pick Schedule for Later, choose a date, a time, and a timezone, then finish the wizard. The campaign goes into Scheduled status and sends automatically at the time you picked — no further action needed. If you’d rather hold the campaign and send it manually with a click, pick Save as Ready instead.
Open the Schedule step
The Schedule step is one of the last steps in the campaign wizard, after Channel, Template, Audience, and Validation. Two ways to get there:
- From a brand-new campaign — Spark → + New Campaign → walk through Channel, Template, Audience, Validation → land on Schedule.
- From a draft you saved earlier — open the campaign from the Campaigns list, click Edit, advance to the Schedule step.
Once on the Schedule step, you’ll see two side-by-side option cards:
When should this campaign be sent? *
Choose to send immediately or schedule for a specific date and time
Save as Ready
Campaign will be ready to send manually whenever you want
Schedule for Later
Choose a specific date and time to send your campaign
| Card | What it does |
|---|---|
| Save as Ready | Campaign is saved with status Ready. Nothing sends until you click Send Now on the campaign detail page. |
| Schedule for Later | Pick a date, time, and timezone. Campaign goes into status Scheduled and sends automatically at that moment. |
This page covers Schedule for Later. Save as Ready is its own flow — pick that card if a colleague needs to glance at the campaign before launch and you want a final manual approval step.
Pick a date, time, and timezone
Click Schedule for Later. A panel expands below the cards with a date-and-time picker and a timezone selector:
Select Date and Time
Scheduled Date & Time *
May 12, 2026 09:00
Timezone
IST (Indian Standard Time) ▾
Campaign will be sent on:
Tuesday, May 12 2026, 09:00 (IST)
Three things to know:
- Five-minute floor — the picker won’t let you choose a time less than five minutes from now. That buffer is there so we have time to queue the send.
- Timezone dropdown — today the dropdown has two options: UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and IST (Indian Standard Time). If your browser is set to IST we pre-pick it for you; otherwise the default is UTC. More zones (US Pacific, US Eastern, Europe London, Australia Sydney, etc.) are on the way. In the meantime, if you’re in another zone, the simplest path is to convert your target time to UTC and pick UTC.
- Preview line — once you pick a date and time, the panel shows a preview of exactly when the campaign will go out, in your selected timezone. That’s the source of truth for what’s been picked. If it doesn’t match what you intended, change the picker or the timezone before continuing.
What happens after you finish the wizard
Walk through the rest of the wizard (Validation, Review) and click the final button.
- If you picked Save as Ready → the campaign appears on the Campaigns list with status Ready. Open it and click Send Now when you’re ready.
- If you picked Schedule for Later → the campaign appears with status Scheduled. The campaign detail page header shows a calendar icon and the scheduled date/time in your selected timezone. The system handles the rest — no further action needed.
You can filter the Campaigns list by status (All Status / Active / Scheduled / Draft / Completed) to find scheduled campaigns at any time. Both statuses are explained in Campaign statuses.
How precise is “on time”
We aim to send the campaign within about a minute of the time you picked. In practice that usually means within seconds.
If your campaign has a large recipient list (tens or hundreds of thousands), the first email goes out at the scheduled minute and the rest stream out behind it — total send time depends on the size of the list, not on Brixus365.
Editing or cancelling a schedule
Honest snapshot of what’s possible today:
| You want to… | Today |
|---|---|
| Change the scheduled date or time | Not directly. Workaround: Duplicate the campaign, set the new schedule on the copy, then delete the original (or it will send at the original time). |
| Cancel a scheduled send | Not directly. Delete the campaign before its scheduled time. |
| Move Scheduled back to Draft | Not supported. |
In-app Reschedule and Cancel scheduled send controls are on the roadmap. Until then, the patterns above are the path.
